Let's be honest, we all have preconceptions about Africa before going there. But if there's one country in Africa that you may have heard good things about in the media, it's Rwanda. It's so clean and organized, they said. But reading about it is one thing, actually experiencing it was another. I wasn't expecting at all what I found in Kigali, being that the country was destroyed barely over 20 years ago. I was so shocked that I had to go and support Rwanda in a basketball game, and see if I could help them over the top against the mighty Cape Verde. #sabbatical #rwanda #africa
