“Time Traveling with Brian Unger” – Brian reveals the wagon that once carried the Liberty Bell broke down Description: Host Brian Unger and a group of Philadelphia locals take a trip 230 years back in time to the American Revolution. Here, they follow the journey of the Liberty Bell, America’s best-known symbol of freedom, when colonists were forced to hide it from the British. The route takes them to historic Bethlehem, Penn., where the wagon carrying the bell broke down, and then to its final hiding place in the historic Zion church located in Allentown. Next, at the Grand Canyon, Unger guides a group to explore the creations of early 20th century architect Mary Colter. They visit Colter’s magnificent Hopi house, a gift shop that she modeled after an ancient Hopi Indian dwelling, and a “rest stop” she designed with a fictional hermit in mind. The trip ends at the Watchtower, a magnificent five-story structure that mimics an ancestral Pueblo dwelling. Premieres Monday, April 27 at 10:30pm ET/PT.
