Ladder Moves During Psychic Sweep of Haunted Theater | Portals to Hell

The historic Savannah Theatre in Savannah, Georgia is the oldest operating theater in the United States and is rumored to have paranormal activity dating back to the 1800's. The Savannah was lit by candlelight from 1818-1886, and in 1827, a terrible fire engulfed the curtains and stage. During the blaze, actors were trapped beneath the stage and one thespian, the mysterious Elizabeth, perished in the flames. Elizabeth is said to enter from stage left as a wisp of white smoke or as a full body apparition in a white ball gown. In 1948, there was yet another fire that claimed the life of a young boy named Benjamin who was trampled in a stairwell while patrons fled to safety. Benjamin now wanders the stairwell and upper balcony, playfully touching and teasing visitors. The third, and most repugnant, spirit is Bill, a deceased stage Director who had a taste for starlets. It's thought that the terrifying local ghost tours, which stir up psychic energy and raw stage emotion, may have opened a portal and let Bill slip through the veil.
