The Characters of London & Edinburgh | Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations

There is something dark, alluring, menacing and lurking just beneath the surface of the streets of London and the hills of Scotland. The people who Tony met all possess that out-of-the-box quality; each of them, in their own respective ways, have gone against the grain to excel. As soon as he arrives, Tony is thrown into the unexpected, going on a renegade deer-hunting trip with famed chef Marco Pierre White, known for his innovative haute cuisine. Later in his stay, he decides to venture to Jerry's, a member's only basement club in Soho to catch up with Phil Dirtbox, London’s original club kid. Finally, Tony travels north to Edinburgh to meet with one of his literary heroes, Ian Rankin. Ian and Tony discuss Scotland's promising culinary future, including in Leith, where Michelin star-winning chef Tom Kitchin is actively attempting to change the landscape of Scottish cuisine.
