After reading about Japan's Michinoku Coastal Trail in the in flight magazine in the fall of 2024, we knew we needed to hike it. That trip came sooner than expected when we decided to return in May of 2025. After our first trip which focused on the typical tourist destinations, our goal was to hike a 150km stretch of the 1000km Michinoku Coastal Trail on the northern coast of Honshu. This film details our incredible experience hiking on the Michinoku Trail, taking in the sight, history and local culture.
