Surf, Ski, and SPAM?! in Oahu | Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations

Nothing's more Hawaiian than surfing, and for Anthony, it was always something he wanted to try. Derek Dorner, a famous surfer, takes Anthony (via jet ski) out to Oahu’s North Shore beaches to test the waters. Sadly, it's a calm morning with no surf to be seen. That didn't stop the pair from having fun though; Anthony enjoys zipping through the waves on the jet ski better anyway. As the weather turned sour, the pair visit with legendary Hawaiian surfer Peter Cole who, despite being 78 years old, is still catching waves! In addition to surfing, SPAM is another symbol of all things Hawaii. Anthony and Hawaii food critic, David Chu, meet up at the Uptown Fountain to enjoy a wide assortment of SPAM-filled dishes, including SPAM sushi, homemade SPAM chili, and SPAM and eggs.
