Showing ANOTHER Side of Iraq!! (Street Food in Baghdad)

🇮🇶 Iraqi Street Food Pt 2: https://youtu.be/Hxw1WI_vuLU 👉 SUBSCRIBE for more: https://www.youtube.com/@MarkWiens Welcome to Baghdad, Iraq! Today we’re eating the best Iraqi street food in Baghdad! A huge thank you to Ahmet and Aya from https://enliltravels.com/ for arranging my trip to Iraq. Kubba Saray - We’re starting in Old Baghdad to try a unique version of kubba from an old shop tucked within the book and school market. Shabandar Café - Located on the iconic Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad, you’ll find the oldest teahouse. And I tried Nooma Basri, a dried lime tea. Afterwards, just outside I ate some classic winter Iraqi street foods including chickpeas and turnips. Bourek Taha - Just down the road you’ll find Bourek Taha that has served the Iraqi version of bourek for generations. Mr. Garbage Raisin Juice - This place is legendary and their raisin juice hits the spot. Abu Hussein Iraqi Gus - Just about every country in the Middle East has their own version of shawarma, and every version is a little different. Gus is the Iraqi version of shawarma, and I was very curious to see how it tasted. Al Qameh Restaurant - For lunch in Baghdad, Ahemet took me to one of his favorite spots for a mix of homestyle Iraqi dishes and stews including lamb quzi. Baghdadi Restaurant - But of all the amazing Iraqi foods, Masgouf is the king of them all, a slow roasted freshwater carp fish, standing vertically with a blazing fire. This is one of the world’s greatest fire grilling bbq techniques. Hamooqy - Finally, we headed to Hamooqy, a legendary Iraqi street food vendor to try his unique meatballs and omelets.
