An imaginative horror short in which a young woman, out on her daily run, accidentally stumbles into the territory of a tribe of murderous gnomes, hunting their prey with bizarre homemade machines. "Gnomes" by Ruwan Heggelman Connect with the Filmmakers: https://www.instagram.com/the_gnomes_are_coming/ https://www.instagram.com/richard.raaphorst/ https://www.instagram.com/ruwanheggelman/ More About "GNOMES": During her daily run, a young woman spots a path lined with mysteriously glowing mushrooms. Curious, she follows it, a decision that will cost her dearly. She is ambushed by gnomes who are neither cute nor harmless, but sadistic and vicious, slaughtering their unfortunate prey and processing the remains into sausages. Director's Statement: As a fiction director and screenwriter, I approach stories with a lot of curiosity for the dark side of humanity.
